Here’s what you can expect from our first few meetings:

  1. Meeting 1 – 45 minutes to an hour and a half

    During this no-obligation meeting, we focus on you, and what’s important to you.  We want to know the experiences you might have had up to this point with Financial Planning/Advising and about what you like and don’t like about your current position. We begin with a series of 10 questions so that we can earn more about you, and determine  if Money Coaching may be a good place for us to start.  If we find that’s the place to begin, we will set you on a course of action which will involve as many as 6 sessions directly devoted to how you and money work together. Our intention in the 6 session course is to give you a healthy relationship with money  before you take the next steps towards creating an  action plan. If Coaching is not the first step, then we will give you a questionnaire to complete which we ask for you to get back to us within a week. We then book our second meeting two weeks in the future, and will continue on with the meeting schedule outlined below. If it turns out that Coaching is what you need, then a personalized agenda will be identified for each meeting and emailed to you prior to our first session. If you are embarking on retirement, or have just retired, then it will be our focus to discuss your requirements in the area of Counseling.  The subsequent sessions will be catered to your specific needs and a customized fee schedule and program will be designed for your approval.

  2. Meeting  2 – 2 – 3 hours

    This meeting will expand our relationship through time spent getting to know you and your current situation better. During this time we will review the data you have provided for verification, and you will provide us with anything that may be missing so that we can provide as accurate an analyses as possible. Every part of our process adds to our knowledge of what is important to you in more depth.

  3. Meeting  3 – 1 ½ hours

    Between meetings it is our job to carefully review your current situation, and to map it out numerically so that you can see what the future will look like if you continue on your given path. Once that is accomplished, if we find there are areas that need improvement, we will determine which strategies and solutions will put you in a stronger financial position without the need for you to compromise your lifestyle along the way.
    The purpose of the third meeting is for us to review our findings with you and to outline a proposal for your consideration. Should you agree to our proposal, we will set out to implement the plan either at this meeting or a meeting specifically designed for this purpose.

Annual Review

On each anniversary of our initial series of meetings, we ask you to complete the confidential questionnaire, so that we many continue to enhance your positioning. Since our method is process driven and educationally focused, we want to be sure you remain on track into the future.

We are available for future consultations and would like to see you at least once a year to continue the educational component of our relationship and to check that you remain on track. This is a desirable option for our Coaching clients as well, to make sure that you and your money are happy together.
